Icky thump was ecky thump but they changed the i to and e because kids can relate to icky more and i bet you dont even know what ecky thump means....its an exclamation of surprise or shock and so it does explain the song
I'm always glad to be informed. I also realize in retrospect that "silly" may have been the wrong word; the word I should have used is "pretentious."
Brendan was a fag alone. Racontours where way better. And this is an example of don't judge a album by its cover.
Again, I'm always glad to get a second opinion.
Broken Boy Soldier was a fine album, and had a very definitive sound that may not have been as revolutionary as Jack and Meg, but was good ot listen to. A classic style, shut and sound good kind of album. But the minimalist garage megastars make great albums. Much better than the Raconteurs.
THIS IS AN AWESOME ALBUM
i was a little wary about it at first after Get Behind Me Satan: not their best stuff, had a more mainstream sound...a little disappointed by that album.
but every rack on icky thump is a great song
