OPRAH IN '08!

...no, I'm not serious.
But a lot of politicians could learn a lesson from her handling of the "A Million Little Pieces" 'What can you do in a memoir?' scandal. And she would make a good politician...
Jeff Jarvis articulately disagrees...
  • Very insightful Wall Street Journal piece on what the election of Hamas as the ruling party means for U.S. foreign policy. Though my analogy may not entirely work, I hope to see that, like in Ireland in 1921, it will be those who truly know the cost of war who make peace.
  • Slate's article on how Bush dodges questions. Nice.
  • Ipod's may make you more vulnerable to crime? hmm.
  • The Washington City Paper highlights what I think is my ex's meeting. Coolness. And the thing about the oats jokes is so true.
I got a last.fm account, and admitted I'm obsessing. Check it out.

pretty colors

I'm back to having pretty colors on the blog. I brought the monitor from the basement up to my computer, and what a difference! sry. I'm just easily excited by my ability to see different colors and not have all the greens look the same and not be able to see anything that isn't black on a white background or vice versa. very excited.
