Repost: About a year ago I became obsessed with "Dr." David Thorpe's column "Your Band Sucks" on SomethingAwful. Now, going to a hipster college, I see some of his advice on "how to fake it" being used on a regular basis, and can categorize many people I know (in jest) according to his "Field Guide to North American Hipsters" (parts 1 & 2).
