No concert post until tomorrow (by which I mean in the morning), I spent most of today discovering the life of a VRE commuter (not intentionally) + 2 hours of extra driving to my favorite Virginian middle of nowhere location. I'm a city girl, it pains me.

Josh Ritter - Blame it on the Tetons (Modest Mouse cover)
Ben Folds - Such Great Heights (Postal Service cover)
A totally different take from Sam Beam's better known cover, and it works pretty well.
Wilco - Thirteen (Big Star cover)
Snow Patrol - You Will (Bright Eyes cover)
The Magic Numbers - Take Me Out (Franz Ferdinand cover)
Indie Rockappella - Come on! Feel the Illinoise! (Sufjan Stevens cover)
Repost: Iron & Wine - Waiting for Superman (The Flaming Lips cover)

I don't know that Tom Jones counts as an indie kid, but he certainly did the Arctic Monkeys one better with this one.

I still don't know if I hate ir don't mind that ben fods cover of such great heights...I have the orignal, adore iron and wines version...and still can't decide on old benny boys version! but thanks for raising the innter turmoil once again :P

sounds like a drag queen singing it
