The kids from Denmark know how to give 80s-style dance music a little twee, but the party won't be crossing the Atlantic until after August 14, tour dates included. It's a sign of my love that I'm not complaining about the lack of a DC date.

Kim Richey: Chinese Boxes
There's a style of modern day folk that resides on the sun belt, but loves to come up north for a visit and delve into the quiet troubles of those of us without a sweet southern accent. Meet Kim Richey, hailing from Tennessee. Chinese Boxes will be released on July 10, and I won't talk about what cities she's not visiting when she tours - you can get tour dates here.

Who are you? I'm sitting here listening to Chinese Boxes and I thought I'd google it. You come up on page 3 or so. Maybe 2. :) And then to my amazement you live in NoVa. Me too! We should hang out or something. Have a torrid affair ... whatever.
I'm easy. :)
