THE. MOST. BORING. MUSIC. VIDEO. EVER.

Thought I'd get that out there.
I'm not a huge Interpol fan, so I'm not hurt by the shrug factor of Our Love To Admire, but I kind of miss the old Interpol....

The albums rocks. If people would listen to it without all these preconceived notions of what an Interpol album should sound like, they'll see that it's one of the strongest releases of the year so far. I actually dig the vid, they like to outsource the endeavour and leave the vision up to the director, and I think it works here.

The idea itself in kind of neat, but in practice it ends up being visually dull and incredibly pretentious. Not being a huge Interpol fan, I've heard all their previous albums but maybe only go back and listen to a few songs once in a while, so I don't feel like I had that many expectations listening to the new album. It just doesn't do a lot for me.
