Jorge Drexler: 12 Segundos de Oscuridad

If there is a Spanish equivalent to Andrew Bird and Bright Eyes, it is Jorge Drexler. I've been a Jorge Drexler fan for the past few years (see previous post), and when I heard he was going to release a new album last September, I was pretty psyched. However, somewhere between blog leave and other distractions, I only got around to buying the album just about two weeks ago.
Jorge Drexler's charm remains the same, with thoughtful poetic lyrics, and quiet supporting instrumentation. This is music for relaxing with a book on a sunny day at its best.

I owe a big thank you to my Oberlin buddy Harris for some of the coding and for file-hosting (*hearts Harris*); you can hire him to build your website just because he's that awesome.

I don't know anything about music. In my line [of work] you don't have to.
