Lack of air conditioning = divine gift

No school today! Amazing, is it not?

Now, Bowling For Soup are playing at the 9:30 Club on July 12, and I'm nostalogic. I saw them for free playing at Clarendonfest...it was either 8th grade or freshman year. And Lucky Boy's Confusion? I remember I first heard them in 6th grade...I think a friend burned me a mix cd...

Lucky Boy's Confusion - Atari
...the common theme? They're soooo nerdy...

So Belle and Sebastian have yet another single coming out to promote "White Collar Boy," my favorite song off The Life Pursuit. This one seems to be all about the non-Stuart-Murdoch members of B&S: 'Heaven in the Afternoon' is Sarah's, 'Long Black Scarf' is Stevie's, and then there's...Stuart's....cover of 'Baby Jane.' Right now it'll only be available in the U.K. as of June 26th, but I'll be looking for downloads, so keep checking.

Two fun mixes on Robots and Questions
...I keep meaning to post this...take the music nerd test! I'm a mega music nerd...

I owe a big thank you to my Oberlin buddy Harris for some of the coding and for file-hosting (*hearts Harris*); you can hire him to build your website just because he's that awesome.

I don't know anything about music. In my line [of work] you don't have to.
